Special collections

This is where the applicable special collection can be entered for entries for which the "Relevant for VDB" status was set to "No".
  • Do not select a special collection if you just want to add the publication to the personal collection of a user from a specific institute.
  • If you select the special collection "Publication list / Vita", you can enter your earlier publications from other institutions. This allows you to manage and export your own publications list as a whole. Your entry will be publicly visible worldwide.
  • By selecting the special collection "Coordinated projects", you can enter publications for your coordinated project or grant that do you not want to be publicly visible in the publications database of your institution. Selecting this allows you to obtain a complete list of all publications in the coordinated project. Your entries in the coordinated projects category are publicly visible worldwide.

  • Do not select a special collection if you just want to add the publication to the personal collection of a user from a specific institute.
  • If you select the special collection "Publication list / Vita", you can enter your earlier publications from other institutions. This allows you to manage and export your own publications list as a whole. Your entry will be publicly visible worldwide.
  • By selecting the special collection "Coordinated projects", you can enter publications for your coordinated project or grant; in this way, you can obtain a list of all the publications belonging to a project. Your entry will be publicly visible worldwide.
  • Select the special collection "Public reference" in order to enter metadata on unpublished conference presentations and examination papers, etc.
