Difference: Hgf_ApprovalState (r3 vs. r2)


The simple traffic light shows the state of a given document:

Document Status and Visibility

  • red: the document was entered by a USER and not yet approved by editor or staff
  • yellow: the document was approved by EDITOR but not yet by staff. These documents show up in VDBINPRINT and are visible to the world
  • green: the document was approved by STAFF and shows up in VDB

This field is where the approval state of the document is indicated.

  • Red: the document was entered by a user and has not yet been approved
  • Yellow: the document has been approved by the editor. It shows up in the VDBINPRINT collection and is visible to the world.
  • Green: the document was approved by the library and shows up in the VDB collection.
